Our Mission

"Love, Lead and Train to Follow Christ"

Our Core Values + Beliefs

We believe in...

Desktop + Tablet

God

We believe there is only one true God.
God is the creator and ruler of the universe, who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:26-27; 3:22; Matthew 28:19; 1 Peter 1:2; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

Jesus

We believe Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God.
The one who died for our sins and arose from the dead. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8; John 3:16; Hebrews 4:14-15; Acts 1:9-11; Titus 2:13)

Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is at work in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ.
The one who died for our sins and arose from the dead. (1 Corinthians 15:1-8; John 3:16; Hebrews 4:14-15; Acts 1:9-11; Titus 2:13)

Bible

We believe the Bible is the true inspired Word of God.
The entire Bible (all 66 books of the Old and New Testaments) is the only infallible, authoritative rule of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

Salvation

We believe salvation comes by God's grace through forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life.
Salvation is available to all who believe in God. One must repent and confess their sin before God, are baptized into Him, and in this receive the gift of God’s indwelling Holy Spirit. (John 3:16; Romans 5:8-11; Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 2:38, Romans 10:9-10; 6:1-7)

Baptism + Lord's Supper

We believe Jesus instructed His followers to remember His death, burial and resurrection through two ordinances, Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Baptism serves as an outward sign of conscious repentance and confession of faith. The Lord’s Supper is a symbol recalling our Lord’s death, burial, resurrection, and promised return. (Matthew 28:18-20; Matthew 26:26-29; 1 Corinthians 11:23-32)

Church

We believe the church is the body of Christ and the family of God.
It is built on Jesus Christ, the cornerstone, and is made up of saved and baptized believers. (Matthew 16:18; Acts 4:11; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Hebrews 10:25; 1 Peter 2:6)

Eternity

We believe man will either exist eternally in union with God through salvation or be separated from God by sin.
To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be eternally with God is heaven. Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence. (John 3:16; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:15)

Second Coming

We believe Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and will reign forevermore.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

Love

We believe loving relationships should permeate every aspect of church life.
This includes the concepts of love-driven ministry, ministry accomplished in teams, and relationship building (1 Corinthians 13; Nehemiah 3; Luke 10:1; John 13:34–35)

Spiritual Growth

We believe Christ followers should manifest authenticity and yearn for continuous growth.
This includes the concepts of personal authenticity, character, and wholeness (Ephesians 4:25–26, 32; Hebrews 12:1; Philippians 1:6)

Discipleship

We believe anointed teaching is the catalyst for transformation in individuals' lives and in the church.
This includes the concept of teaching for life change (Romans 12:7; 2 Timothy 3:16–17; James 1:23–25)

Evangelism

We believe lost people matter to God, and therefore, they matter to the church.
This includes the concepts of relational evangelism and evangelism as a process (Luke 5:30–32; Luke 15; Matthew 18:14)

Transformation

We believe churches should be led by men and women with God-given leadership gifts.
This includes the concepts of empowerment, servant leadership, strategic focus, and intentionality (Nehemiah 1–2; Romans 12:8; Acts 6:2–5)

Community Engagement

We believe life-change happens best in community.
This includes the concepts of discipleship, vulnerability, and accountability (Luke 6:12–13; Acts 2:44–47)

Excellence

We believe the church should be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure.
This includes the concept of sensitively relating to our culture through our facility, printed materials, and use of the arts (1 Corinthians 9:19–23)

Innovation

We believe excellence honors God and inspires people.
This includes the concepts of evaluation, critical review, intensity, and excellence (Colossians 3:17; Malachi 1:6–14; Proverbs 27:17)
We believe the pursuit of full devotion to Christ and His cause is normal for every believer.
This includes the concepts of stewardship, servanthood, downward mobility, and the pursuit of kingdom goals (1 Kings 11:4; Philippians 2:1–11; 2 Corinthians 8:7)
